Should i smash lovis soul stone

I'd understand this one if he had the key to the Hall of Echoes, but he did not! Or what the hell, did he loose it? How come Lovis has the key to unlock that dead love's soul, bring her to life and thus kill Demian?

And how come he's locked up in the tower like he can't leave nor can be bothered and then just gives me the Key like there's no risk of me having it stolen from?

If Demian can see dreams, why did he not get that Key already? What am I missing? He has the key to the Maxos Temple, which is something the protagonist has to conquer before reaching the Hall of Echoes.

It was Ba'al, the mighty demon, who conquered Broken Valley that led to Lovis's demise. Yes, he was an ally of Damian. Yes, he didn't snatch the key to the Hall of Echoes from him, because he never had it. Lovis could do nothing in all his power to save himself from "rotting without decay", as he puts it. His soul was trapped in the Maxos Temple, but his consciousness is in the Citadel Tower. Unless he could attain his soul which is trapped in a magical stone within the Maxos Temple , he will forever be stuck in that Citadel Tower, as Maxos intended him to be.

Another thing I want to mention is this: There really is no such thing as a "key to the Hall of Echoes". To reach the Hall of Echoes, certain conditions must be met, the likes of which you will see for yourself as you get further into the game. I won't spoil it for you unless you ask. Another thing Lovis entrusted the key of the Maxos Temple to our protagonist because he actually had reason to trust him. But should you come across it, I would reward you well! He figured all his Dragon Knights would naturally take on their role as fair but aloof rulers, not thinking of the ambitions men foster.

Lord Lovis cared little for Maxos, but used his powers to live a life of luxury as he ruled with iron fist. Amdusias was consumed with rage when his master decided he would never become a Dragon and went out of his way to become one, whatever the cost. I was a loyal follower, but in his wrath Maxos did not spare me. I care little, though.

I am looking for a book written by Maxos that describes his research about the Hall of Echoes. If it was in the library, I would know. But unless Maxos had it on him when he disappeared, it should still be in the temple at least. Fare thee well! This is required for the main quest, but it has a quest reward of its own. Mindread the Librarian, the new alphabet will immediately come in handy. Francis What does time mean in this eternal vault? Am I still sane?

I repent, Maxos, I repent! Release me, please release me! This book looks important. This strange tome is filled, you assume, with the secrets to many wondrous magics.

You are engulfed in the knowledge detailed in these visionary pages and leave them behind wiser than you were before. Another teleporter shrine. And you might not be able to tell, but that Ghost on the left has a quest exclamation mark over his head. Abalam You must wish to die young, lingering here, mortal. I did not come here for a brawl. A chat, rather. A chat with the doomed? Go ahead, I suppose. Why do you ghosts haunt these halls?

We were cursed by Maxos together with our old master, the Dragon Lord Lovis. I met his spirit. He told me, in so many words, he was cursed because of his weakness for wine and women.

Wine and women are hardly vices, are they? His deeds were of a very different order! His inebriation he derived from torture, his ecstasy from slaughter. The horrible tyrant! Lovis was a tyrant and we his meek subjects. For our failure to stand up to him, Maxos deemed us equally responsible.

Lovis would have killed all who opposed him, I should imagine. We admired, then feared him, yes. Explore Wikis Community Central. Register Don't have an account? Lost Soul.
