It does. But, really, see my answer above. So here's what I did to shuffle the order of my playlist. Select all the songs you want in the playlist Edit all their info so they have a matching category artist, album, grouping, etc.

Select the limit to [any number higher than the number of songs in your playlist] items option with items selected by random Select OK You should have a smart playlist with randomized order.
